Ismael Zerbo

Ismael had his first contact with b|u|s when he was a consultant working for GIZ from 2008 to 2012. During this time he strengthened his knowledge of agricultural entrepreneurship. This experience enabled him to discover the various farmers’ organisations in the different regions of Burkina Faso. In addition to working as a b|u|s trainer, Ismael gained additional experience as a consultant to Burkina Faso’s Ministry for Agriculture from 2012 to 2014 and as a supervisor of agro trainers working with GIZ until 2021. Knowing the difficulties farmers’ organisations are facing in Burkina Faso was an asset when he joined the AHA trainer team in 2017 working in the area of organisational development (OD) with various farmers’ organisations in Burkina Faso, which continues to this day.

In the psychological field, and as a consultant, he supported disaster victims in 2009, a programme initiated by the government of Burkina Faso.
Today, he works as a Master Trainer in b|u|s and OD.
